e-Books
What is an e-Book?
e-Book curriculum is identical to the
print curriculum, except that it
resides on your computer instead of
in a binder on a shelf. Also, the
ebooks will have some color pages
whereas the print curriculum will not.
When you purchase your e-book,
you will receive an email that
contains a proprietary link that allows
you to download your e-book to your computer.
The e-book file is in .pdf format, which means you need Adobe Acrobat to
read the file. Adobe is a free program that most people already have
installed on their computer.
After you download the file, it is yours to keep forever and use as you wish
for your immediate family.
There are several advantages to choosing e-books:

Important information regarding the use of e-Books:
When you purchase a print curriculum, you are
free to sell your used books to someone else
once you are finished with them. It is not so
with an e-Book.
e-Books are digital property and are not
transferrable. An e-Book is basically a license
for your to print our curriculum as many times as
you like for your immediate family. This license
is for your immediate family only, and is not
transferrable. You may not sell your pdf, nor
may you give it away to any third party. If you
redistribute any part of the e-Book, either
electronically or in print, then you are basically
stealing from us and are in violation of our e-
Book license agreement.
Sharing is prohibited. This notice is printed at the bottom of every page
in every unit, just to help you remember.
Please kindly respect the hours and weeks of time that went in to creating
this curriculum, and do not share. We’ve priced our units affordably so
everyone should be able to purchase what they need.
What about coops or classes?
Many coops and classes have decided to use Living Learning Books
curriculum. If you would like to use an e-Book with your coop, then do the
following:
1. Instruct each family to purchase their own e-Book from our site.
2. Collect a printed copy of the purchase receipt from each family.
3. You may then reproduce the pages for your students by either:
a. instruct the families on how to use their own e-Books
b. make a copy of the e-Book on a disc for each family
c. print the pages for your students each week from your own e-Book.
A la Carte Curriculum Puts You in Control!
What topics are you interested in? You can cover a wide variety of
topics, or concentrate on a specific area such as vertebrate animals,
physical sciences, or space exploration.
Every topic is centered around a core text. If you are looking for
convenience at a great value, then you’ll want to own these beautiful
books. Otherwise, they are commonly available at most public libraries.

As you browse our available units, you’ll see that each
one indicates how many days of lesson plans are
included.
For example, the Amphibians units shows ten days of
lessons. If you plan to do science for three days a week,
this unit would give you about three weeks of curriculum.
You’ll need to purchase enough units to fill out your
school year.
